Mary Lou Corn has been painting professionally for the past 50 years, with collections all over the country. She is s a proud member of the National Watercolor Society, Missouri Watercolor Society, Kansas Watercolor Society, as well as the Honor Society of Watercolor US.
Mary Lou's beautiful Ozark country landscapes captivate the spirit of this land that she so admires.
Her still-life paintings reflect a formal taste, with rich fabrics and linens, detailed antique objects, and unusual glassware. Her floral paintings carry inspiration from the great women artists of the 20th century and are among the most sought after of all her work.
In April 2010, Mary Lou was an honorable judge for a national juried show by the Missouri Watercolor Society.
Special Thanks to George, Jo and the MWS for making the show possible. It is their hard work that gives our state and artists like Mary Lou the opportunity to experience national recognition.
In early 2003 Mary Lou introduced high resolution Giclee prints of her paintings. Her prints are available for purchase in the
shop section.
